Abby recently posted some tips on some great sites for Halloween crafts and activities for kids, and I thought, just in case your little one doesn’t have a Halloween costume yet, that I’d give you some great sites for kids costumes. These aren’t all your run-of-the-mill costume factories. Some of them are a little expensive, but totally worth it if you want to spoil your little young un.

Kiddie Kostumes is more than just a Halloween costume site. If you have a kid who simply likes to play dress-up, this is a great place to shop. They are a small, family-owned company located in Homosassa, Florida, and they offer really high-quality kids costumes at very reasonable prices.

This site literally has thousands of kids costumes to choose from, from infants to tweens and everything in between. They have 2-day shipping for the reasonable price of $11.95, and their selection is truly impressive. They have some pretty random choices – like the infant Little Trees Car Freshener Infant Costume, but they have all the usual stuff your kids would want to.
>>Just Kid Costumes – justkidcostumes.com

While it isn’t the prettiest site in the world, this site has a wonderful selection and is easy to navigate. They have different shipping options, as and the standard is a very reasonable $8.95 US Ground Rate and everything ships from Chicago, IL. For your little princess, they have a very great collection of princess costumes, and for your little fella they’ve got everything from Iron Man to Abraham Lincoln.

In addition to some of the nicest kids clothes I’ve ever seen, this site offers some amazing costumes for kids. They’re kind of pricey, but if you have a kid with discerning tastes, or if you’re looking to go to some fabulous kid’s Halloween party, a costume from Chasing Fireflies will make your kid the absolute best-dressed kid there. They have some commercial-type character costumes, but also some opulent and beautifully made theme costumes (Poseidon, for one) that will make you wish they offered ALL the kids costumes in adult sizes. Speaking of which, they do have a few adult costumes, and while you might pay more than $100 for one, it’s one that will last you a long time.

If you have a very specific need, or just need a cape or a tutu, there is always Etsy. Since all the people make handmade products or offer vintage things, you can either choose from some truly unique items, or you can commission a custom costume from one of the many talented Etsy crafters.

Your child might have already picked out his or her costume, but make sure to bookmark this post for next year, where you’re sure to find a costume that your child will love.
