This site has okay forums, standard synopses, and a fine account of news about the show and its cast and crew, but the real allure here is the opportunity to contribute to the effort.

Here you will find ratings of Bon Temps’ fashion sense, and a character column called “Ask Dr. Ludwig” featuring the snide little old lady who begrudgingly administers emergency care to victims of various supernatural attacks, for starters. If you appreciate True Bloods shameless, self-aware forays into hilarity, you will have a blast reading this page. There are also entertaining breakdowns of each episode according to what fans liked, what they disliked, and what was just plain ridiculous.

Naturally HBO’s official site is perfect, and is probably the first place you’d go to get your fix. That’s why it’s the last one on the list. But if for some reason, you haven’t checked it out yet, here’s why you need to, now. The maximum sneak peeks are here and here alone. If you can’t wait for the next episode, you’ll find some relief here. You’ll also get the official commentary from cast and crew following each episode that will get you further into the world of the show as the writers interpret it. In addition, this is the only place to read Babyvamp Jessica’s blog, the struggles and musings of a newly made teenage vampire. It, like the show, tackles very complex feelings in a way that is sometimes messy, reckless, and thrilling; and sometimes clunky, hilarious and embarrassing.
