Just enter your zip code, town or state into the “Find Weather” search box at the top of the screen and you’ll get a current and forecasting weather report. You’ll find Forecasts, Severe Weather, Weather Apps, Maps, Video, iWitness Weather and more helpful information to plan your day, travel plans or simply if you should pack an umbrella.

This is a very useful site and you can easily see the current and forecasted tracks for expected hurricanes. You’ll see both the Eastern Pacific and Atlantic. Especially practical if you plan on traveling to an area where they are experiencing hurricane season. The maps are easy to read and you’ll soon have a stronger understanding of the potential of a hurricane in your area or travel destination.

At Weather Underground you’ll find great weather forecasts for the U.S.A. area. View both radar and satelite as well as WunderMap ™ to get a sense of what the weather is like. This site lists U.S. Severe Alerts so you can track storms and other severe weather. Tropical and hurricanes information can be found here. View the weather photos to see the power of nature – some gentle and some with great power.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Weather Service is one of the biggest weather information sites available. You’ll get up to the minute information here and there is lots of great weather updates and information here for everyone. Find Warnings & Forecasts, Geographical Forecasts, view National Maps and Radar. Get a sense of the Air Quality, a very helpful tool for many of us – especially the elderly, children and those with asthma or allergies. View Satellite or Climate information to see the weather and how it is changing and/or updating.

At CNN Weather Forecasts you can weather for any location in the world. This is a great convenience especially for the traveler – if business or a family vacation has you traveling and you’d like to know the weather for a national or international location. Weather forecasts are brief and to the point with graphics that are easy to read and understand. Today’s forecast was “29 degrees” and “Intermittent Clouds” with a sun peeking from the clouds. Most people would be able to understand the forecast without reading further information. Sunrise and sunset time are given and also humidity and the wind speed.

This is a very interesting weather site we thought you’d appreciate. It is a tornado research website run by a top tornado expert, Dr. Bill McCaul. You’ll find information about recent and past tornados at this website. There is great information about tornado safety and storm shelters. Read tornado stories and interesting tornado myths. If you are curious about tornados and want to learn more, this is a great site to increase your knowledge about this particular type of storm.
