The classic movie of childhood, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz has been loved for over seventy years, and the book on which it is based for more than a century. But Dorothy’s adventure was not the only Oz book written by L. Frank Baum. And in recent years Gregory Macguire has breathed new life into the stories with his four books in the Wicked series which prompted a hit Broadway musical about the life of the Wicked Witch of the West.
