Best Mommy Blogs – Best Mommy Bloggers
Personally, I am childless at the moment. I mean, I keep meaning to get around to having kids, but it’s definitely not happening right this second. When it does, I know I will automatically become a better writer. Because, after all, Mommy Bloggers are the best bloggers out there, are they not?
Here are some of my favorites.
Mommy Melee
Maria is a funny, honest, awesome writer who is also a designer. She has two sons, and records their antics faithfully on her blog. Her “About” page tells us that she was an English major at the University of Florida, and that she’s been a blogger since 2001.

Suburban Matron
Becky has a killer sense of humor, even when it comes to dealing with breast cancer. She deals with that candidly with good humor, and she has some hilarious stories about her husband and kids. She has one of the former, and two of the latter, along with a dog. A beagle, as most dogs should be.

The Mommy Blog
Mindy is not only a blogger, she is also a published author. She wrote Mommy Confidential: Adventures From the Wonderbelly of Motherhood. She has chronicled the development of her family, her divorce, and the merging of her single mom family with her mate’s family. She’s been on Oprah, too. She’s also a panelist on Momversation.com along with…(see next entry)

Dooce
Heather Armstrong, founder and mastermind behind Dooce, is also a panelist on Momversation.com, and is mother to Leta, Marlo, and two dogs (Chuck and Coco). She and her husband Jon live in Utah, or one of those in the middle, and Heather has documented her pregnancies, her life with Jon, her battles with depression, and her amazingly malleable and agreeable dog, Chuck. Heather’s Dooce universe has become a very, very big deal. She has her own deal with HGTV.com, has written two books, and is all-around awesome in just about every way.

Mommy Wants Vodka
Aunt Becky is a blogger who started out her mommy blog at her boyfriend’s urging. I’m really glad she did, because not only is she funny and smart, she also presents her life’s situations in a sensitive, touching, and disarming way. Her youngest child, for instance, was born with a an encephalocele, and Aunt Becky’s posts about the first few weeks of her daughter’s life are compelling and honest, and they will make you love her.

The Bloggess
Jenny, aka The Bloggess, is so much more than a mommy blogger. She is a parenting advice-giver, a sex advice-giver, and an all-around hilarious, awesome, writer-of-probably-my-favorite-website-out-there. I don’t so much want to be her, as I want to be best friends with her. I dare you to read any of her posts without laughing out loud at least once.
