World of Warcraft – WoW Bloggers

I’m going to be completely honest with you.  I’ve never played World of Warcraft.  I saw it once, when my friend stopped by for about a half an hour and showed me his new laptop and immediately logged onto WoW to introduce me to his girlfriend, but I never actually played the game because I got into playing Diablo at one point, went online to play, got killed immediately, and went back to my Nintendo and Donkey Kong Country, never to look back.

Anywhoo, somebody requested a list of World of Warcraft Blogs, or said it would be a good idea, so here are some that I found that have been updated recently, seem to have well-explained content, and seem to have lots of content.  As to the validity or helpfulness of the content, well, you’ll have to let me know.

A World of Warcraft Weblog

WOW Weblog
This site has two badges that are very encouraging – one that says “Top 100 Gaming Sites” and one that says “Top 100 World of Warcraft Sites.”  I don’t know where the badges come from, but they do inspire confidence, don’t they?  This blog’s latest posts were about Daily Quest Gold, Daily Cooking Quest, and Daily Fishing Quest.  The site includes Gold Guides, Leveling Guides, and character activity updates.

Big Bear Butt Blogger

Big Bear Butt

The name of this blog originally attracted me, and while I still don’t understand any of the WoW stuff, I found myself browsing through this guy’s site because he writes about stuff other than WoW.  There is plenty of WoW stuff in there, and his blog seems to get a lot of traffic and plenty of comments.

Honors Code

Honors Code
A lot of WoW talk goes on on this site, and while I recognize that there is a lot of great information, I can’t say that I “get it.”  It’s not for me to get, however, and I submit this website as a good WoW blog because it has lots of current, robust content and it’s nicely laid out.

Wulf’s Warcraft Weblog

Wulfs Warcraft Weblog
This site is nicely designed and updated often, and the author seems to go to a lot of WoW-related functions and conventions, so she is able to provide a lot of related news.  I’m not exactly sure what a Night Elf Hunter is, but this person is one, and offers tips for other Hunters, which is (I guess) a classification of character on the game.  The author has been playing World of Warcraft since 2004.

Gaming Noobie

Gaming Noobie
I suppose if I were to start playing the game, I suppose I would start here.  According to the boy whose mother canceled his WoW account who freaked out and later went on Tosh.0 and talked with Tosh, Noobies are, like, the worst scum imaginable.  But I guess everybody who plays WoW started out as a Noobie as some point.  This is a site dedicated to those people who are not afraid to be Noobies.
